There were 12 of them this morning, and another 5 during lunch time (another small stretch of road near my office)!!! C’mon lar, as if rejecting 2 or 3 wasn’t enough… u guys should SPLIT UP evenly! Not that I have never done this before, in fact, I was from SJAB (St John) in Sec sch… We used to do this at least once every year! But we certainly got the brains to not just "line up" in the same stretch to ask the SAME ppl for donations lor!! I had to say "no thanks" for the first 3 person, and subsequently I came up with variations like "donated already", "sorry" and last... I just either smiled at them or pretend I never see them!

What a morning to start with..

Tonight the fruities and my poly lecturer Kris is coming over for a mini get-together before she heads back to Switzerland again. Lucky her, can follow hubby to Switzerland for work while she just stay at home and be a full-time housewife!

Work is the same for me… monotonous.
But my boss’ attitude becoming damn *XYZ#@^* lor!
He is REALLY undergoing MENOPAUSE~
Today say this, tomoro say that... Wa seh, lim peh got no time to entertain ur silly mood swings abt how work should be done lor!
I damn sian lor, seriously.

I realised that im becoming more and more grouchy like him, more impatient with him, less tolerance than I used to be liao.. becuz this man here is super ‘Fazy’ (try to figure that out!).

Anyways, counting down to 31st August, and I can get myself a new phone!!
Finally, something to be happy about.

Another boring day at work.
Is the work boring, or am I just not enjoying my work? Could be both.

Need to start looking ard... for sure. Best is that I can find one before my birthday cum macau trip this year. Then I will start work after my macau trip.

Next year there’s a lot of long weekends, some of which I wun be able to enjoy, cuz need to work on sats! Sickening, isn’t it?

Received my CC bills last few days.. totaling up to a sum of $2K+!!
Last month also paid ard $2K+ for my CC bills (liability from Europe trip) Damn..
My UOB bill alone chalked up $1.6K already:
Pedi/Medi package installments ($200 p/m)
Slimming package installments ($200 p/m)
Sewing machine ($249)
Lenovo laptop ($700)
And some miscellaneous items…
Urgh… shouldn’t have took up so many installment plans! Its like slow poison…breaking u down every month. Another CC trap with installment-free plans!

Going for my 2nd slimming session (out of the 5 which I signed up) tomorrow. Hope to faster finish the treatments so I dun have to find 3 hrs each week to do the sessions. And somemore the consultant very long-winded and persuasive.. Hard-sell type. I can’ take it. But since I pay liao then just go lor. Dun waste $$, each session cost me $400 lor! I must be crazy to have fallen for their trap that time!

Anyways, its FRIDAY!
Gota spend the upcoming weekends drinking lotsa water to clear my new zit below my lips.
The size is big enough to bomb Hiroshima! URGH!!! Why are zits still growing on an aging 28-year-old?! Let me off!!

Tonight having Korean BBQ with Zhong Lee and GTO. Looking forward man!
O dun like to Korean Cuisine, so I usually have it with my Ching-gus.
Eat today, slimming tomoro.

Think my consultant is going to nag me abt my weight gain these few weeks which she hasn’t seen me since March.... &*^%^^%$#%^

Nonetheless, i did dig out some older files and note their deadlines, and I realised this b*Ss here can reli sit on his work for ages.. I'm starting to see a collection of invisible dust on top of the piles.

Yesterday was day one of the PC show at Suntec.
Will be going tomoro aft work to buy my mini laptop.
Was thinking of buying Dell's Mini 10 in Red or Pink, need to see the real stuff to decide.
10inch screen and a compact weight of only 2.5lbs = 1.1kg.. imagine that!
Damn Coolx~

I’m not counting but it seems AGES since I last blogged.
Really never crossed my mind that I have since dumped my blog and immerse myself in Facebook. It even seem to me that we dun need a blog since now we have Facebook. But after spending some time thinking, I still prefer to pen my 2 cents worth here in my blog that posting something on Facebook and face the risk of everyone seeing it.

Mensus never come yesterday. It was due yesterday and I can feel it coming cuz keep having the "poo" feeling and feeling slight cramps in my abdomen. Wat a Monday!

Tmr having steamboat with Colleagues. Will see how it goes, if mensus really come then probably can’t join them. (I have really bad cramps during mensus..

So much work to clear before my leave, and it’s a good sign. If not, it simply means I’m dispensable. Hahaha… Counting down… 16 more days to my Europe Honeymoon! Excited but I’m gonna miss Cocoa. It has been raining for the past few days with thunder and lightning, the poor baby has been shaking from time to time and finding dark corners to hide in.

The slimming coffee is making me thirsty from time to time… Seems like my bowel habits have improved due to the many extra Ls of water I have been gulping down recently. I can feel a little effect… not so much on the weighing scales but more to my clothes.

Something is wrong with my lawyer, he has been stealing glances at me since this morning (I mean he used to do it too, but more so today)… Hope he is not having any dirty thoughts in his mind! That "D.O.M" (try figuring that out)!!!

This morning when I was taking bus to work, someone sat beside me, and I can smell her "Versace Red Jeans"… It really smells good to me… the smell immediately brought me back to the sec sch days… I remember Yen and me used to have one bottle each! Haha… smells really sweet lor, most importantly, of the memories it brings. There are really some fragrances which will bring me back to a certain time.. For eg. Versace Red Jeans to Sec School, Hugo Boss Woman to days working in OS, and Chupa chup’s fragrance (one of my really faves) reminds me Uni days. In case u are wondering abt the Chupa Chup's fragrance, here's a reference for u:

This is one of those days u feel extremely tired… from not doing much, not eating much, not thinking much too. Body and mind both spiritless.
Many-a-time, I felt so restless and wonder why I’m in all these shit.

The files are all over my desk and the file organiser boxes are all over the floor. Which means when I have to pick up the files or slot in the files, I must squat & try to balance myself while holding those heavy legal files.
It’s a really freaking "organising system" derived by my freaking b**s who seldom do the squatting stunt. I’m beginning to feel helpless and useless. This is really a case where A Person Works for the Money, NO Passion At All… SAD case.

My legs are getting itchy again... must be the climate and the bacteria that’s causing all those rashes which Ash (colleague) describes as "tai-ko". I have serious "tai-ko" leg problems man.. and I’m helpless abt it. I should seek help.

My freaking b**s is whispering to himself again.. not that I’m worried that he has schizophrenia, cuz I talk to myself all the time… and even had imaginary frens.. and I thought I was alone!! Turns out, saw many of my own kind. Sighz.. Signs of modern-stressed-beings.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

Had a pre-celebration with the fruity gang last night.
Went to Da Paolo at Holland V, followed by a movie at Tiong Bahru.
Dinner was great! Its my 2nd visit to Da Paolo and for Jo, its like duno how many umpteen times.. she raves abt the food there, and got the rest excited too!
I had "Handmade Spinach Pasta with King Prawns and xxxxxxxx" for my main course, can’t remember the whole title for that dish. For starters, we had Parma ham with rock melon and pan fried scallops (YUMz!!!) Tiramisu and Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice-cream for desserts. I wasn’t a dessert person until I was exposed to European food… It didn’t seem complete for a European meal without desserts!

We watched "New in Town" by Renee Zellweger, wanted to watch ‘Bride Wars’ but Jo watched already so... …
Yahoo Movies has a 5 star rating for this show.. But for me, I think it deserves a 3.5 maybe.. Romance Comedies will always be Romance Comedies, u know wat I mean…

However, the BEST Romance Comedy I have ever watched is "Love, actually".. That’s a really really GOOD movie! Fills my tears at the brim of my eyes whenever I watch it..

I opened up my blog this morning.. almost fainted!

No more complicated HTML format and no more music for my blog la.
Sometimes the music from the background can be irritating too, esp when I try to open up from the office. Lolz
Colleague went to buy lunch for me, so now I’m waiting in the office for my food.
The famous Ipoh Horfun.. I dun feel like eating crayfish today, so I ordered the chicken + gan bei hor fun.
Reminds me!! Must faster eat then later see got time to go and buy TOTO anot!

New blog skin for a "Niu" year!!

It’s 初五 today!
Tonight meeting "fruities" for Dinner at Imperial Treasure! Yummy.. heard many ppl had already lao-ed their yu-sheng.. me not yet once lor! Tonight is 1st time of the "niu" year…

This year I’m so caught up with housework, got no time to go medi/pedi lor.
Saw all my friends and colleagues’ nails so nice, envious *_*

3rd day at work… a piece of me still have not come back yet.

Tomoro is yet another day of celebration – with lotsa frens coming over to play cards! Exciting… my first try at gambling luck this "niu" year. Rooster is supposed to have good luck this year, I heard…. And many of the Goats I know have been losing $$, and so was being said by the fortune-tellers on TV. Bad year for Goats.

Been sneezing since last night.. kaoz.. left nostril stuck like mad.
I can’t breathe… ... help!!!
Wana go home rest now… can? (just another excuse to not work lar)

Oh yah.. to follow up from previous post.. As expected, this year’s Pop question is "Pregnant already not? When you planning for 1st one?" I even had cousins so ludicrous, placed their baby boys on my bed and said things like "must let baby boys sleep on ur bed, then will give birth to boys lor…" I bet that’s another excuse to use my damn comfy Sealy mattress lor!

Went to see BB Kayden last sat.. he was so adorable. Eyes bright bright and also a high nose bridge. As wat Apple’s hb also says, he will train him to be a playboy next time, so I better give birth to a girl! Hahaha… Dangerous move, need to think twice.

This year not much ang pows to take.. only less than 5 from relatives who insisted on giving us.. and our companies’ kai-gong ang pows and a pleasant surprise from one of the guys who always visits our office. My immediate superior never give me lor, super neow man. Like I said, if there is a Chinese Zodiac for Cats, I bet he belongs there.

Lunar New Year's round the corner... 3 more days in fact!

Boss just declared tmr off... sadz!
Cuz i need to work alternate sats and tomorrow is actually my work day, which means next week no need to work and going down the calendar… I will have 6 long weekends to enjoy! But now since the shift is being pushed down… SHIT! All my long weekends becomes short weekends liao. %^)($*(@#_$*(^

We dun usually get bonus "half days off" except for recent months… since all the celebrations and buffets have been dispensed with, due to the economic crisis. Oh well, hopefully the company’s ang pow will not "giu-zwee" this year.. I remember getting $100 for CNY "start work ang pow" last year.

Sighz, this year no ang pow to collect from relatives..
here’s a shout-out for them: "Hey u lucky people! This year no need to bao ang pow for me, damn shiok hor u people!!!!"

Was discussing abt Ang pow money with my ex-colleagues during our meet up recently. 3 of us got married last year so this year is our 1st year distributing (sarcastically used here) ang pows.. We were talking about how much did we prepared in total.. And M actually said $1K!! Im like…. Wah!!!!" I duno abt my own.. hubby prepared all…

Last night was hubby's birthday.. brought him to Restaurant Ember at Keong Saik Road.
The food was nice.. not that FANTASTICALLY good lar.. but all the raves and reviews abt that place gave me high expectations, which they just managed to hit.
We had Pan-fried Foie Gras, Angel Hair Pasta for appetisers, Black cod and Chilean seabass for main, and Apple Tartin + Vanilla ice-cream and Banana Tart + Lavender ice-cream for desserts.
Read from reviews that the Lavender ice-cream taste like shampoo, but for me.. its more like Aromatherapy Oil ><'"
Total spending is $165.00, its abt 20% cheaper than Vis-a-Vis at Bukit Timah.. but we both agreed that Vis-a-Vis has nicer food. Ambience wise, Ember is stronger and more romantic.

Hubby and I have been into French Cuisine lately.. You can call us Foie Gras Connoiseurs already!

Sian... no mood to work!!! Too looking forward to CNY! Huat aR!!!

Counting down 5 more days to Chinese New Year…

One of my buddies msned me something a few days ago "we are turning 28 this year already… how? So sad."

Well, I simply replied her "compared to ppl our age, without a boyfriend or partner, you are married with a house.. do you really think u r sad?"

She got my point. *_*

Actually, me too.. can’t accept the fact that we are in our late 20s already!
It feels like yesterday when we were just celebrating our 21st birthday!!!
I even found the birthday card the gals gave me for my 21st birthday.
A card 7 years ago! Can u imagine?

Gone were the days we just worry abt having not enough "pocket money" to buy our stuffs.
Gosh, why I reminiscing good old times here?
I must be really getting old liao…

Back to CNY.
Luckily this year I kiasu.. already bought 2 pink dresses.
Dun wana be like previous years.. last minute cannot find anything I like then simply just grab and end up didn’t wear those clothes a 2nd time!

Went to Queensway shopping centre last weekend to amend O’s new Levis Jeans which he bought at $50 discount from their "Trade-in your old jeans" promo.
Ended up, as we were waiting to collect his jeans.. I also bought 2 jeans with immediate alteration services.

I thought that salesgal looks like Becky, so felt a sense of warmth when she encouraged me to buy those 2.

I have been quite a shoppaholic recently, just trying and paying for clothes I think looks "ok" on me.

I spent most of my time unpacking my new clothes and throwing out the old and "worn-less-than-2 times" clothes.

Im still like that leh.. same size same shape.

Most ppl are worried about eating too much CNY goodies and mayb put on weight after CNY, but do u know what’s the biggest worry?

Relatives never stop asking questions.. since the day u were born.

When we were kids:
"How’s your PSLE results?"

When we were teenagers:
"Got boyfren/girlfren already?"

When we were adults (single):
"Why still no bf? Faster go and find lar"
[this question will pop up every year without fail until the day they see ur partner]

When we were adults (attached):
"When getting married?"
At weddings… "When is your turn?"
[this question will also live on until the day u tie the knot]

BUT… still not the end of story…

After marriage:
"When giving birth???"
And the relatives will recycle this question until the day u get pregnant.. not all.
it will be followed by..
"When’s the next baby?"!!!!!!

After that… the cycle from question no. 1 will repeat itself.

What question will I be getting this year?

Hi all, Monthly Journal is back for the December issue!

Really got no chance to update my blog man! 7th December was my Big Day.. then followed by my Cambodia Trip.. then back to work.. clear work.. organise Christmas party, then now sorting out pictures from my Cambodia Trip and Wedding.. and vavooooom.. next, it’s NEW YEAR and followed by Chinese NEW YEAR!

Such an eventful period. I doubt anyone will bother to read this too.

My December ’08 issue of CLEO was bought in November. I read halfway, threw it in my study room and discovered it only last night. Hahaha.. Dun think I will ever have the chance to finish it. Same goes for the November ‘08 issue.. Maybe I can get the January ‘09 Issue later!

When u get your own house, there is just sooooo much housework to do (Not that I’m complaining)! And sitting down to read newspaper or magazine is a luxury, really. Even the tea that I bought, I have no time to slowly appreciate it.

Even at work, my heart is outside. Just heard from a colleague next door, tmr’s her last day. I’m happy for her too.. cuz everyday (almost) can hear her boss scolding her. Anyways she said she found another job….. makes me wonder, izit time for me to go too?

Apple’s baby boy, Kayden, was born on Christmas day. So cute.. might have to wait till the full month then can go and visit them. But 25th January is CNY eve.. gosh.. wonder how Apple is going to arrange that!

It’s 5.10pm now.. im stuck in the office. Siting beside me (and for the past 4-5 months) is my TK boss. Damn TK lor… Can’t stand him.

Wow.. time flies. I haven’t been updating for the past one month!

This blog has become like my monthly issued journal! So many times happened that I duno where to start with…

Some updates on my wedding..

A little hiccups and screw-ups from my Bridal Studio, but things are still going on fine.. I haven’t collected my album yet! Guess it will be ready by either this week or next.

As for the hotel side, so far so good. Attendance not so good thou. From 28 tables, we shrinked to 25 tables… a lot of ppl can’t make it – going for holidays, working.. etc etc.. watever lar. I also believe that if ppl wants to come, they will be able to make it no matter what. Anyways, im planning to keep my wedding small and nice, lesser tables = lesser problems also. We have gotten our wedding cards and also chosen our wedding favours already. As we were given 2 choices, we got the teacups and coasters with the "little chinese wedding couple" cartoon.. if u know what I mean..

Oh yah, the wedding cards are ready too!! Nice and white.. with Precious Moments pictures on them.. I like Will upload the photos here tonight!

Work is ok too… not so busy.. time passes slow. Boss is still very "tee-ko".. wat to do?

I’m going Cambodia after my wedding.. for a short honeymoon. The actual one is in April 2009 – planning to join the TopDeck Tour to Europe.. Super excited! Hope we dun incur too much losses for the dinner, then at least no need to save up to Europe… so jialat!

Recently my body is reacting funnily.. not doing much exercise, but feel damn tired! Maybe its mental…. mentally tired. Just a few weeks ago, I am feeling relaxed.. but as the wedding gets near, I get more tired. Dun even have the mood to collate my songs into a CD.. Everyday just feel like going home early, play with my cocoa and watch TV.

Talking abt TV, the channel 8 9pm drama serial by Chen Han Wei and Zoe Tay is damn good man! I make it a point to catch it every night. It’s abt AIDs, and the mis-perception of ppl have towards AIDs. And how ppl react to a person before and after he is infected. Damn good lor the show, so realistic. It really reflects the true beings.

And wana say "Jaiyou" to my buddy (name is not mentioned for privacy)! Her dad is in hospital and just did a Bypass Op last week, till now still in ICU and not out of danger yet. May all the Gods look after him… May he get well soon.

After my ah mah (granny)‘s incident, I turned to a belief that a person who survives death, will survive even better after that. My ah ma used to be a petty, closed-up and defensive person. She was that type who will "hide" in her room when we go and visit her during CNY, in avoidance of some of her children whom she doesn’t like. A few months ago, she suffered from a stroke, of which she managed to recover almost 90% now. And she is a Changed person totally. She is friendly, smiley, and whatever u can find in a good ah mah.

What im trying to say is that, everything happens for a reason…
So, Be Strong…and also believe that every obstacle you come across is actually a challenge for u. 加油!

8th October 2008 "celebrated" my one year in this firm… Kaoz, I din’t expect myself to survive this long man! Sighz.. now is a bad time to look for a job. My wedding is creeping up in less than 2 months time, and the market is really not doing good! Anyways, I have to hold on.. I will get my bonus (if any) end Dec.. but seeing the way the market goes… I think even if the boss gives me one month, I should be happy liao.

Finally, I have the chance to update here… Those who wana see the pics of my new house, pls kindly go to my Facebook account to check. Too lazy to attach the pics here again.

These few weeks have been grueling… Luckily after shifting into my new house last Sunday, I saved a lot of precious time on travelling.. Each trip was lessen from 50mins to 20mins now. So I save 1 hr per day on travelling. But poor Cocoa had to be left alone at home.

So far it has been ok for her. My mum stayed over on Sun night, so I have her to take care of Cocoa on Monday morning.. Tuesday she was left alone, Yesterday O was on urgent leave so he took care of her.. and today Cocoa is alone again. Hope she doesn’t pee and poo on my sofa man! So far she peed on the floor in the study room twice already. But other than that, she went to her cage to wee. Good girl.

It’s only Thursday today and I’m damn tired and sleepy man! Have been sleeping after midnight for the past 4 nights. Can’t really sleep well, maybe becuz not accustomed to the bed yet.

I’ll be having my 1st round of housewarming this Sat afternoon, followed by one in the evening and another one on Sunday afternoon. The final one will be on 18 October.

Was supposed to collect my wedding shoot photos (soft copies) last sat.. 6 Sep.. but was too busy with house cleaning so I postponed the appt to 20 Sep. Will upload the photos either here or Facebook once I have them.

O bought some mooncakes from "Big China Pastry" (大中国), damn yummy. They come in Macadamia and butter flavor, and Walnut and butter flavor. I tasted the Macadamia nuts flavor already, but haven’t for the Walnut. Heard from my mum it’s damn good. Must try.

Finally.. I found time to feed my blog.

Work has been really keeping me crazy, stressed etc..

My house is 85% ready.. tomoro they are delivering Tv, heater and the last batch of lights to my new house! We also bought the red leather sofa, but need 3 weeks to custom make.. so will not be ready until sept! and thats when i will move in..

fast? not very fast lar... I wana get rid of the 2 hours travelling time each day! Dun wana wake up at 7am everyday lor! Not enough sleep man!!

We have all thought about it, you are a U-grad.. shouldn't be wasting time doing what you are doing.. Are you interested to try out Litigation at our Main office? You will be working directly under one of our partners - OBL.

Me: Er...

A: It will be a good option for you. If its other lawyers, I may not encourage.. but if its OBL, I think you will really learn alot of things there.

B: Yah.. OBL is very knowledgeable.. and he is just like a walking Law dictionary.. you will benefit alot working under him.

Me: Hmm.... I'm ok.

B: Wow.. really? I'm surprised you agreed so readily..

Me: I would like to try something new anyway..

B: Great... very good! That's the attitude.. (to A) See, thats's why I always say.. youngsters are very adaptable and they really have very good learning attitude.

A: Yes.. (nodding)

Me: I love challenges.

B: Ok very good.. It's definitely going to be VERY challenging, so i need you to wrap all the cases that you have in hand.. you will need to clear whatever you can do for now and I want you to pass ur files out by tomoro..

Fyi, the main branch is well-known for the residence of many famous kungfu masters.. Namely, the Viper, the Praying Mantis and the Tigeress(es). You will know what I mean if you watch Kungfu Panda.

Thus explains why I haven't been able to come online to update my blog for SOoooo long! (I used to do this during office hrs.. heehee) Now I'm scared they catch me!

Back to the political world...

I was lucky they put me into a "chamber" of my own.. until the current secretary moves out of OBL's office. So till now I have made less than 3 friends, after 6 working days (that's quite a record man!).

Well, on my 1st day of work.. OBL told me ALOT abt why he wants to replace his current secretary.. and I'm like "huh.. why she like that??"

After more days of working, I came to realise that his current secretary is actually not that bad really! She's quite knowledgeable and good in her work.. She also told me her side of the story and I'm like "huh... very different from what I've heard". But well... when 2 person can't get along.. they simply can't.

I'm worried.... cuz till now I still duno the real reason why OBL dislikes his secretary.. I'm just worried to end up having the same fate as her. We shall see abt that, right now, I'm working on it.

Job Transfer!

I'm getting a job transfer starting next Monday!

My biggest boss called me into his office yesterday and asked me if I would like to try out something new - Claims dept.. instead of what im doing now - Conveyancing. It was auntie who encouraged me, so I agreed almost immediately..

Thus, I will be shifting to the main office at Chinatown point. Goodbye, Toa Payoh... I will miss you! Apart from getting ready to meet new people, report to new lawyer and adapting to my new work desk, i will need to wake up at 7am everyday (I sleep till 7.35 everyday)! Well, for the short term, its going to be a lil' tougher.. But I'm moving to Tiong Bahru in Sept so travelling will be no problem then!

Excited, worried but looking forward~ as always, I'm a super optimist! :)

Last Sunday, went to collect my free ipod shuffle from Funan.. then continued our pat-tor to Maxwell. But it was only 5pm, too early for dinner, so we went opposite to take a walk at the majestic 佛牙寺 (buddha-tooth-temple). It was really grand! Nice lor, so I took some pictures..

Wednesday… Finally!
1 more hour to knocking off.

Last night went Balestier to buy the rest of the lightings for our new home. We saw "陈天文" in one of the shops. He and his wife were also shopping around for lights. As what I will usually do when I see artistes on the streets, I will pretend I don't recognise them and walk on without looking at them. Haha, I guess… He will also be awkward if I keep staring at him right!
Anyways, we moved on to another few shops to continue out search for lightings. Saw this very very grand chandelier.. can anybody guess the retail price??

*hint: it's really expensive lor!!

Then we carry on walking and walking and we walked into "Palace of Lights".. and I finally found my "Diamond" light!!!! SO excited! The price tag showed $198, and I'm like "huh…. So ex for such a tiny light?" Think the Sales person heard me, then he quickly explained that the price tag is for "show" only.. The original price of this "Diamond" light is actually $95 only! Hahaha.. heng ar ~ He went on to explain that they purposely jack up the price so that when Interior Designers bring their clients to buy lightings there, they can 假假 give discount, and can still set aside some $$ for the Designers (so now u know why designers like to bring clients to buy lightings, eh?!)

Anyways, I'm grateful for the sales person 'Raymond' for being so nice and honest. Apart from buying the "Diamond" light, we also bought lights for the bathrooms. Just simple cubic lamps, with stainless steel borders around them. Will definitely put up the pictures here when the lightings are installed… Then u will know why I'm so crazy abt this "Diamond" light which I have been talking abt! Delivery this sat! Hooray!

Sick, moody and poor!

Isn't it very sad? It's a Monday and I'm very moody.. So moody I can list down the reasons why I'm moody!!

1. I had a very sick weekend with a very bad flu, which means I didn't really enjoy my weekend

2. My flu has found his all-time good fren - Cough.. They always meet each other in the end, thou the flu always arrives a few days earlier

3. I lost my voice!!! Not totally, but I'm 85% on a "mute" mode now! I can't even sing along when I heard my favorite song on radio just now

4. It’s the TOTM (Time Of The Month) again!! At this timing meh?? On a Monday where I'm already so sick and they need to come together???

5. Woke up early morning and look into my wardrobe, wana wear white color top but realised that my nude-colored bras are not washed yet!!!

6. No choice… after thinking for quite some time, I decide to wear my black-colored stoned cross-backed top, and I realised the scars on my "wings" still visible!!

7. Ok so be it… scars... bobian. But the horrifying news is that I have a big 'O-Ceh' on my biceps area!!! Walau eh!!! I must have bruised myself when I knocked my arms against a cupboard the other day!

8. Nvm lor, then I just carried on my journey to the office.. was thinking.. since my boss doesn't want to reimburse our medical bills, then I will come to the office to spread my germs lor!

9. Sick still need to work, already feeling very moody right? Reach the lobby, entered the lift, then I realised that the f**king lift is going down, not up!! FREAK MAN!!! 9.15am already still take me for a joy ride!

10. So, in the end, I reach office… Saw my colleague, I try very hard to force a smile but she returned me with a "smelly" face (aiyah, anyways she always do that.. maybe she thinks she looks "chio" by trying to look blank)

Yah so you see?? I'm really f**king moody, sad and pissed to start off with this horrifying MONDAY!

Wakau, I realised I can get really bitchy when I'm pissed!!
Not that I want to rant my anger here, just that I can't find anybody to talk to!!! Because I lost my voice (read point 3!) and really dun wish to "show off" my yucky voice lor! I sound like a ba-pok now!

Phew, my pre wedding Photo-shoot session is finally over!
It was a really very tiring, hungry, thirsty and "itchy" event for me... I dun even know why the ppl who has been thru it says it's fun!?!?

Apart from the privilege of changing many beautiful gowns and makeup/hairdo, I was made to do 2 things that I really disliked - Posing in the Sun & Sitting on Grass!!! Posing means I'm frustrated but I still have to act happy! We didn't prepare any water or food so we were damn thirsty during outdoor, and I thought I almost had a heat-stroke! We went to Hortpark and Alexandra Arch for the outdoor shots, it was quite nice.. but HOT HOT HOT!!! FYI, I'm really not a SUN person.

Started at ard 10+am, we ended at ard 6pm. I didn't managed to snapshot myself until on our way back from outdoors. I think O was too uptight and nervous abt the photo-shoot, he totally forgotten abt me telling him to secretly take some shots for me. Anyways, this is the one and only one I took.

Btw, this is my tea-dress & not my wedding gown.

Choosing my photos next Monday. Quite excited to see how the photos will turn out actually.. I'm quite worried abt the scars on my back and the fats on my arms!!! I heard technology is very advanced now… Adobe photo-shop should be able to do the trick!

Wanted a new skin for my blog… but still can't find a suitable one.
Last sat, I finally decided on the materials and colors to use for my house.. very worried on how the thing will turn out, although I mostly chose safer colors like beige, white, brown and black. I dun think it will turn out disastrous, just hope the colors will complement one another.

Monday was Euro 2008 Finals.. with Spain and Germany vying for the Champion.. & Hurra, my favorite Spanish Team won!!!! Thou David Villa was injured and did not managed to recover in time for the Finals! They still won, with Fernando Torres' help!

Watched the match at 2.45am all the way till 4.45am! Therefore, I refused to wake up for work on Monday.. (It's a Monday, you know!!) I took leave and rested at home. Initially, I thought that I would be lazing at home the whole day, but later on decided to go out buy paints and lightings for my new house. Since Uncle Tong (my electrician cum painter) was also available to bring me and my mum out to buy those stuffs.

Spent $116+ on paints + accessories and another $1026+ on lightings! Although the shop assistant already given us lots of discounts, I still exceed my own budget of $1K.. Moreover, I still haven't bought lights for both bathrooms and the passageway yet! Saw the "diamond-star" light at a fren's house, and I wana buy that for my passageway.. but the shop says only certain Design Shops sell those, so I still need to look around.

After running the errands, my bro came to my new house to pick us up and we went to the Henderson Waves at Mount Faber.. It was beautiful! Just that a few mosquitoes fed on me~ Wanted to take some pictures, but my handphone camera is only 2mp with no Flash.. keke.. Those pictures I took were all pitch black.

Anyways, O and me has decided to go back there for our outdoor shoot tomoro.. Since we have to chose 2 spots for our photoshoot, it would probly be Silosa Beach and Henderson Waves. Will try to sneak some pics for posting here (our own cameras and videocams are not allowed during the photoshoot). Luckily, we still have our handphones!

So excited about tomoro! Think I will need to sleep early tonight, thou I think the makeup artist will be able to cover my panda eyes. Will need lots of energy to pose for the camera! I should be bringing my Cocoa or Bibi for the photoshoot! My co-ordinator told me I can either bring my dog or a soft toy.. but I think soft toys are so … … …!!

Anyways, I think my dog will do better!

After duno how many weeks.. It's another 姐妹 gathering last night.
Had Thai Express for dinner - Pineapple rice and Tomyam soup.
Didn't think much of their food.. I still prefer Lemongrass @ Heeren.

(At this point of time, my colleague just walked thru... I always have a feeling that she is always peeping into my PC whenever she walk past. I'm sitting at the aisle, u see..)

Yb says the keys to her flat could be ready anytime from July '08.. Happy for her! Finally, she can get to design her own house! I always look forward to how Interior Designers design their own houses! Should be very nice...

Heard that the tiling for my floor is done up already. We're going to have a look after work today! This sat will be eventful for us.. Breakfast @ Delifrance Taka, buy my bridal shoes then go Tiong Bahru plaza to catch my long-waited "10 Promises to My Dog", after that will go my new house to have a look again. Think I will be buying a mop and clean up my floor.. so ppl can sit on the floor.. don't have to remain standing.

My ceiling will be done next week, then i can start on the painting and carpentary liao. Think my house should be completed by end of July... It seems. 1st of August is Lunar 7th month.. If the house is not completed by then, then we would have to leave out the whole month untouched (not auspicious to do Reno during 7th month).

I stayed up last night between 2.45 to 5.15 to watch my favorite Spanish boys play the Euro quarters and boy, am I glad I caught the show! It was an exciting (and very long) game due to the fairly equal commendable skills of both the Spanish and Italian teams! But holly, Spain won!!! Oh btw, just in case you ppl wondered why im so crazy over the Spanish team, look below!

Did quite a lot of decisions and selections for my new house… Yesterday went Courts to buy the Cooking Hob and Hood for my kitchen. Initially I wanted to get "Brandt", but upon our arrival at the department, we were introduced to another Made in Italy brand "Turbo". As they had compact designs for their hobs and hoods, they were perfect for our narrow cabinets in our mini kitchen.

We also shopped around in Furniture Mall for leather sofas… Finally O compromises to have a leather sofa instead of his 'beloved' fabric sofa. Believe me, it took me a VERY long time to finally convinced him that a leather sofa is a better choice in terms of appearance, durability and convenience (I dun wana wash sofa covers!!!).

So... hooray! We are going to have a Red Leather Sofa in our Living room.. how cool is that!

哇考。。

I'm damn sleepy.. Zzzzzzz.
Met up with my videographer yesterday after work.. he showed us his works and we discuss the requirements, itinery etc.. until 9pm.. I din't have dinner before that then im like sooooooo impatient throughout his whole presentation.

The Christian Tradition

The fear of Friday the 13th stems from two separate fears -- the fear of the number 13 and the fear of Fridays. Both fears have deep roots in Western culture, most notably in Christian theology.
Thirteen is significant to Christians because it is the number of people who were present at the Last Supper (Jesus and his 12 apostles). Judas, the apostle who betrayed Jesus, was the 13th member of the party to arrive.
Christians have traditionally been wary of Fridays because Jesus was crucified on a Friday.

Some historians suggest the Christian distrust of Fridays is actually linked to the early Catholic Church's overall suppression of pagan religions and women. In the Roman calendar, Friday was devoted to Venus, the goddess of love. When Norsemen adapted the calendar, they named the day after Frigg, or Freya, Norse goddesses connected to love and sex. Both of these strong female figures once posed a threat to male-dominated Christianity, the theory goes, so the Christian church vilified the day named after them.
This characterization may also have played a part in the fear of the number 13. It was said that Frigg would often join a coven of witches, normally a group of 12, bringing the total to 13. Look at my template.. oh well, yeah it wasn't designed by me lar.. but I spent almost the whole morning + early afternoon uploading and editing it. Given that I have no knowledge of HTML, I think I'm already quite smart. At least it looked much better compared to my previous one..

Renovation hasn't been smooth.
HDB has rejected our application for hacking down the wall between our masterbedroom and the smaller room beside. Well, which means I will not have a walk-in wardrobe. Oh well, for a better cause; my contractor's charging me $350 for hacking & $200 for relocation of the door. And if I were to engage a Professional Engineer to issue a certificate to ensure the stability of the hacking, I need to fork out another $350-400. Come to think it, I'm hacking away a wall and I need to pay an additional of $1K? Forget it man.

Doing away with the hacking of wall, I will need to redesign the layout again.

Prince Caspian and Kungfu Panda

Last week was a movie week for me.. and guess what? I watched 2 "children shows" (if you may call them!) and almost half of the theatre is filled with kids!!!

With compliments from Andrea, I got 2 free tix for Prince Caspian and i got Yen to accompany me since I know Raw's not interested.. And oh.. my Prince Caspian is soooo handsome!

因为 walk-in wardrobe 不会有冷气机，我想装个 ceiling fan。看了 KDK 的网站，才发现新一代的 ceiling fan 已经不像十几年前的那种。Ceiling fan 竟然有LCD遥控器，几先进一下哦！装修屋子虽然很好玩，但也很累。。可是想到自己设计的概念会将一一实现，就很兴奋！动力也就来了。忽然觉得自己很像 auntie, 因为我也在研究马桶和水盆。哈哈哈。。。下次你们要买的时候，记得来问我，我可以提供一些意见呢！

刚刚收到个坏消息，我的 floor contractor 告诉我们，客厅的 tiled-platform 没被批准。。只可以做 wooden-platform，可是因为我的主题是 Modern Lush 所以 wooden-platform 不符合主题。可能就不做 platform 了。或者照做，可是用 carpet 来盖掉木的部分。真扫兴！

Flea Market at the Scape (Youth Park) this sat.

Took this pic last week when I went to paid for the stall.

It was small crowd.. more ppl browsing than buying.

So not really looking forward to it.. Jo is sick somemore.. duno whether we can carry on the stall as per planned. If only someone would take over the stall from me.... :P

Somemore need to meet my floor contractor this weekend.. if all goes well, should be able to start the reno le. So far, the quotes are from 6.9K to 8.1K - for the floor + false ceiling + hacking of one wall lor.. Really ex to own a house man! I'm doing homo for most of the areas covered.. except for the kitchen and toilet tiles whereby HDB has already done up for us. Now also sourcing for aircon.. might not be getting an inverter since we wun be using it so much.

Before we do up the kitchen cabinet, have to get the measurements of our fridge first.. We already decided to get the white colored fridge from Fisher and Paykel.. Ex (abt 1.1K), but it looks good and moreover, its energy saving.

As for TV, most probably its either Samsung or Sony Bravia. All the "S".. we are getting 'Sealy Posturepedic" for the mattress. It's damn comfy.. last weekend, we went to Robinsons to try the Omazz mattress, wow.. you really will feel the "dwhine-dwhine" in the latex mattress! But it costs 5K per mattress! If only we strike 4D, toto, big sweep.. watever!

Yah, the time now is 3.03pm on a Thurs afternoon, so what am i doing here instead of working? Hahaha.. im really quite free lor! Jo's on MC today.. nobody for me to po-lo-so.. somemore, raw's on reservist.. nobody for me to disturb. Work's done.. left a bit of filing which is the last thing that I wana do now. Maybe I should pick up a new hobby like reading online novels etc.. to keep myself entertained till 6pm..

Meeting Zann and Yb tonight.. wana go visit Zann's bb and pass her the gifts.. so excited! I always like to "play" with other ppl's bb.. but like what I always say, 1-2 hours of playing is really very enough for me, so dun ask me to have my own babies ... ><"

I'm contented with just having dogs for companionship!

This is really another slow moving day…. To the long weekend ahead.
Can't wait, really can't wait to get off work… Not much to do actually…

lp was on study leave for the past week, and I was supposed to take care of the work while she was away, but given my weak constitution and plus the terrible weather, I fell sick from last Sunday and was on MC for 2 days.. When I came back on Wed, there was just so much to do…
But now, I'm damn free.
Or I should say, I'm feeling damn lazy to even move an inch of my finger - to do work.

I'm in a super relak and holiday mood now.
I spent most of my time after lunch reading Bryan wong's blog .. interesting blog he got there.
I have always thought he is a talented artiste with a unique personality. I enjoyed watching the shows he hosted, from City beat to Home Décor 3… so nice.

I'm recently into Interior Designing mags.. mainly becuz I need more inspirations for my house.
Have chosen the main tiles, tomoro might have to go and choose my platform tiles. Previously, I saw some homogenous tiles which looks exactly like parquet tiles.. thought that's quite nice.. but I think will be ex too!

So many work to do for my house.. electricity, choosing materials for my carpentry, lightings, TVs, aircons, and even down to wash basin and toilet bowls. Sighz… Fun but tiring. And I haven't quite started except for reading ID magazines…

Hooray.. another dream come true!

Haha.. the men just don't get it! This has been my dream card since years ago when it first came out. It's never too late to get it right?! :P They came out with the platinum (which will take me at least 3 or more years to qualify), but I still prefer this classic design. I also received my Citibank Tang's card, which will enable me to have a 10% rebate whenever I spend more than $10 at Tangs. It's nice too.. but i'm surprised that you dun need to earn more than $50,000 to have a Citibank Platinum card, which sets it apart from other banks. I guess more youngsters (like me) will sign up with them to fulfil this little vanity on our part.. Ha.

I think I really need a break.. been falling sick and my flu so bad, the skin around my nose is torn due to excessive rubbing and irritation. It must have been the hot hot and hotter weather recently. A phenomenon caused by Human to Earth, and it's back to haunt us - Global Warming! I feel so upset when I heard that 9 ppl has been killed by the heat in Bangladesh.. Wonder when it will hit the rest of the world. When its hot, we must turn on the aircon so we will not suffer from the intense heat, but each minute when we turn on the aircon ,the earth is slowly suffering from it. It's more like a "Chicken or Egg theory", makes me wonder if we can even withstand this heat to see the earth gets better (if it can ever get any better). My body's been so heated up, I get pimples on my face and ulcers in my mouth. Every little thing irritates me.. I just hate being trapped in this big desert! Let it rain tonight please.........

Stumbled upon this White Duffle when i was still searching for my Pink Duffle.. The person told me that this is the new Spring collection and also, when it's sold out, it'll be sold out...
Was still deciding between this and the LV speedy 25.. but I liked this better!

So, I pestered Raw to buy me this last Friday as a Wedding Gift.. Hehehehe...
Love it, but still haven't used it yet..
Will be using it tomoro.... now thinking of wat to wear along with it.

Lazy Saturday afternoon.. it just stopped raining.

Slept until 11.30am today.. back hurts like mad.

Brought yen to my market to have her passport photos taken..

Date's getting near and I just found out today that we need to go down ROM on the 28th March 2008 for verification & statutory declaration or you may want to call it "som ba"..
Din't read my filing instructions clearly until lp told me.. upon 2nd check, luckily I realised it!
If not, we wouldn't be able to carry out our solemnization on 2nd Apr.

Work's getting better and more work is coming in for me... which is a good thing.
Time passes faster this way.

The dogs' skin problems are acting up again.. this time, its fungal infection..
Cocoa has been shaved as a result... but not for Bibi, cuz my mum says wait...
well, it's her dog so she decides... just yesterday, i went to buy them a cream which costs me more than $20! hope it helps to treat and prevent further infection.

Bought a pair of red shoes yesterday and another pair of golden shoes today.
Golden shoes are for my ROM, to go with my lil' white gown with gold trimmings... I decided that golden shoes will look better than white shoes.

Mum went Genting and will be back tonight.. 11.25pm already but no news from her.
Bibi's already waiting by the door.. in fact she has been doing so for the past few nights..
Cocoa's in my room, no more licking of her own body.. think the cream does work.

I only had 2 chicken joints for dinner tonight, getting sick of the food at the KPT downstairs and there isn't any egg in the house, so decided not to have my instant kimchi noodles. Stomach is growling now.. but too late for any food now. ROM day coming... better start learning to curb my hunger.

Hi ppl!
How did u spend your Vday!?

My Vday started out boring and sian, cuz need to work mah!
Saw a few delivery guys walking past my office, and my heart beat faster everytime one of them passed by... Thou I already told O no need to buy flowers but i really wished he send me... hehehe..

At ard 11am, I complained to ws that O never sent me flowers.. haha, then at ard 2plus, received a mini bouquet from ws! So sweet of him, he also sent one mini bouquet for jn.. cuz i mentioned to him earlier on that we had no bouquets in our office!!

3pm, another delivery guy came along and boom! this time the bouquet is from O! So happy.. 6 stalks of White Lilies with lots and lots of baby-breathe and forget-me-nots! hehehe... :)

That evening, i went shopping with Yen cuz O needs to work on his project that was due the next day. Holding one big and one small bouquet, really felt like an Alien, but have to admit i do enjoy the attention and the envious looks of the passer-bys. There was even one lady who told her fren "so many ppl with bouquets today, wah this one even bigger!" (referring to me as we were in a Q, and I was blocking her view) Yen and I pretended to be lovers that night.. haha, i purposely held her hand when ppl's looking. So funny.. Anyways, i did buy a mini Raspberry truffle for O that night cuz he decided he wanted to meet me and stay over.

Anyways, I collected my wedding band from Sookee on V day.. damn nice! haha.
It's from their Jac-Laurant collection. Half matt, half shiny, with 12 mini diamonds.

Im trying out Laneige's star white moisturiser now.. managed to get a bottle of it during the private sale. Luckily for me, my ex-colleague from Robs managed to reserve one bottle of Skin Refiner and 2 tubes of facial foam for me as well. Yippee! I love Laneige pdts, esp their Star White series.. Also trying out their eye mask now, its quite good.. I can feel the *pricky pricky* effect on my eyes whenever i put on the masks. Hopefully the dark spots on my cheeks can be lighten before my ROM.

Talking about ROM, I'm going to select my ROM dress next Sunday!! Thinking of getting either a Pink or Lilac dress.. Hopefully, I dun need to wear White yet!

Gong Xi Fa Cai everyone!

Have been busy with CNY lately.. 4 full days of bai-nian, followed by getting my spirits back at work, eating lots of Yusheng, drinking coke/pepsi etc..
Not to forget catching with the latest of Edison Chen's saga and watching my favorite Hongkong Drama Serial - "Qian Huang Bai Ji", the last episode was last night.

Watched "Kungfu Dunk" last Sunday afternoon with Annie, pretty nice show. But expectedly, it's a Jay Chou's movie.. ALL about him. Haha.. Tseng Zhi Wei acted well too, made me cry abit in the ending part.

I'm be watching CJ7 tonight.. not really for Stephen, but more for 7-zai.. Loved the cute little Alien doggie!

Realised when i told people about my wedding venue, they seemed to mistaken it for the one at Beach Road. No no no, its the one beside Peninsular plaza and opp Excelsior Hotel.. Grand Plaza Park Hotel, previously known as Grand Plaza Park Royal. Hmm... the looks of the hotel is abit... .. . erm.. old., but the interior is nice! I'm beginning to believe that Age does makes some difference in our social circle...

As age is catching up with me, I'm beginning to have more expectations from the people around me.. Like they shouldn't be engaging in certain activities, shop in certain places, behave in certain manner, have certain kind of thinking etc..
With expectations, entail disappointments.
Time & again, im beginning to feel disappointed with the people ard me..

Maybe they also have their expectations of me, which i have failed to met..

But I think i would not have failed them badly.

I wished some ppl will just grow up and learn how to respect women -MEN!
For I have no idea when i will no longer be able to conceal my anger and hurt them with my words.

In this Era, MCPs are totally unaccepted in our society!!!

Just realised that 25 Jan 09 is CNY eve! Shit..... but then again, luckily haven't paid the deposit of 3K yet!

Anyways, after some researching.. I have already booked another hotel - Grand Plaza Park Hotel. Date has also been changed to 7th December 08! So its almost 1.5 months earlier than the previous date.

I can be a Dec bride finally!

Yes Poh, would love to go UK for my honeymoon... planning to go Switzerland!!

After much effort, finally managed to booked the Grand Ballroom at Grand Copthorne Waterfront! Was wanting to set my date in Dec 08, but the hotel is sooooo fully booked for all the Sundays in 2008 already! Anyways, Im just too happy to get a date in Jan 09!

Wonder why I always have to wait for so long just to eat something in my market..

Last 2 weeks ago was the kway chup, i waited for at least 30-40 mins! Walau.. seriously speaking, it wasn't that fantastic.

This morning was Fishball noodles.. me and Ah O waited for close to 25 mins! Super dun believe it! As such, I took a pic to show u guys..

Breakfast on 8 Nov.. ..

The taste was ok.. not too bad.. but really dun think it is worth the 25 mins wait!
It's real cheap thou, $2 only!

This week is a very happening week for me!

Bad news first.. I scratched my bro's front bumper while parking head-in.. have already sent for repair.. going to cost me $250 for that! Exactly on the same day, i collected my bridesmaid dress from the dressmaker, only to find that there are pen ink marks on the dress! ARGH!!
Luckily the dressmaker proposed to refund me the money.. it's $200 mind u!!

Apple is getting married tomoro and I'm going to be one of her "sisters" for the whole day..
After the chinese tea ceremony, I will have to rush home to change clothes so I will be able to reach Hyatt to prepare the wedding favors for the banquet at night.. I'm sure the wedding favors from Apple will be very exquisite!

Other than Apple's wedding, Icez is also getting married this Sunday..
Being the bridesmaid and buddy, it yet another long day for me..
And I still have to work on Monday! Well, thats the cost of friendship - priceless! (thou the angbows for them are going to burn a big hole in my pocket again *_*)

I'm 26 officially!

Tonight have to treat my family to dinner.. Sobz, jobless for one week, still gota treat!
Made a booking at Zi Yuen in Lengkok Bahru.. Actually went there in Jan for ah O's birthday..
I find the food quite alright.. My only 2 memorable dishes are Emperor Chicken and the Scallop Tofu.. the rest of the dishes i can't really remember what they are.
Tonight I'm going to order their Doggie-styled Duck and Emperor Chicken (again).
Will take some pictures to show u guys!

On monday, i went to laser my oil seeds below my eyes.. now i have like "tai-go" eyes, cuz the areas below my eyes are burnt.. scary.. haha.
Therefore, these few days i have to wear sunglasses to wherever i go, even when going to the mama-shop downstairs.

I duno why, flossing always leaves a slight pain in my gums.. but then again, i did not floss to hard.. in fact, it was just in and out within 2 seconds. Is flossing really good for the gums? I'm weary.

Phew.. What a long day..
It has been really relaxing at work nowadays.. nothing much to do and so I almost surf the net from 9-5pm.. except 12.45 to 2.15 when I had my lunch.. as you can see, even lunch time is 1.5 hours! *_*

Therefore, taking the last 30 mins to update my blog.

Went to Singtel comcentre for lunch before proceeding to Coffee Club for desserts! wow.. what a pampering day~ I love the mix-vege rice from Comcentre! Cheap and good.. thou there is usually a long Q.

Surfed some holiday getaway sites.. found 2 interesting places where I might wana go..
Krabi and Phuket. My colleague was telling me, Phi Phi island (Phuket) is a must-go. But too bad ah O dun like such places.. Airfares are real cheap.. I checked Jetstar, the tix to Phuket is only $9!! Yes, $9. But on certain days only lah..

The "Staff Movement Memo" just came out.. announcing my departure soon.. now I'm hounded by my colleagues! Aiyoh.... :P My last day - as said in the memo, is 30th Sept.. So I don't have to claim any leave at all.. wow! Hope they will cash it for me thou.. $$

Luckily, my mood was a little perked up by the Robinsons 10 Days Special that started today! I bought a pair of shoes at half price only! UP$99, after 50% is $49.50 and I still have my staff discount.. So it's really a steal! I also helped auntie Karen to buy some stuffs which added up to ard $200.. Once again, my staff discount budget is coming to an end.. Anyways I think HR is going to collect back my staff card soon.

Yesterday was a happy day, I finally got my White Envelope.. hehe.. I will be getting a one month bonus this coming sept. YEAH! Finally.. So that pair of shoes is really a small reward for myself!

Wow, it's midnight now.. 2359 and just touched 2400/0000.
Bloody tired and waiting for O to call so came to update my blog.

Yesterday morning watched the 1130 show at Tampines for 881!
Nice show with nice songs and nice costumes.. overall I think it's commendable for a local movie.
Believe u me, I was crying throughout the whole show.. esp when the 881 sisters cried, I also cry! The aunties beside, in front and behind me also sniffing away!

I have been trying hard to look for the soundtrack "yi ren yi ban" by Wu Jia Hui, but can't find.
Maybe I will buy the OST... "ji lang ji bua, gam jing buay sua, ji lang ji su ku, gam jing jia eh gu"

Hi Guys~ It has been more than 1 month ever since i last update my blog - again!!

Just went to "Pepper Lunch" with the gals.. After we left the place, we all stink!! Can't stand the smell thou! Actually I dun really wana eat that, but C wana eat so we accomodate her wish.

I'm finally into my 4th month of work and I'm really given more chances to do more things nowadays.. working life has been exciting, just that I'm alwaz very tired after work..
It's thurs again! Tomoro is Friday, and after that is WEEKEND! but weekend seems to pass very very fast!

My senior is going to Birmingham next week for a buying trip, so I will be very very undisturbed (hopefully)..

Lunch is alwaz very enjoyable with my cute colleague who is 1 year younger than me.. We alwaz disturb each other, but i think without her, i will be soooo bored!

OH my... i realised it has been more than a month ever since i last updated my blog!
How time flies... One day just pass after another..

Working life has been hectic, so hectic that I just wana laze ard whenever i reach home after work.. during weekends, i will just go out for dinner or stay at home to watch TV.. not much energy left to do other stuffs..

I'm still scrapping thru my pay every month.. not enough to use.. not enough to spend.
No amount of scrimping or saving can help, since the food in orchard is really not that cheap.. and each meal costs more than $5 at least.

My throat is feeling funny.. as if something is blocked the air-pipe.
Getting sick again..

GR is having his exam tomoro.. so he has to study hard these few days.. wish that he will pass his exams with flying colors. Now that I'm not studying anymore, i missed the schooling days.. plus the exams.. it's just a different kind of feeling you will never get in the working world.

Ever since i started working, my room can't be any messier and I see it getting worse every day.
But I simply does not have the patience and energy to clean it up. ><"

Xmas is drawing near.. I have taken some nice photos with my new phone..

It has been my full month @ work on monday~ payday this friday!

Has been busy and tired after starting work.. so tired that I dun even have time to update my blog for more than 2 weeks already.. So much things to say but too tired to recall and type it out..

Work is fine.. colleagues are quite nice.. thou my buyer speaks really loud and she is just sitting behind me so i can hear her screaming everyday... ARGH... doesn't really make my days.. but what to do..?
Bear for as long as I can... Don't ask me if I like my job... cuz i duno.

My Granny has been admitted to the hospital as she has suffered from a stroke while sleeping..
now she is half sided paralysed and is still in a coma..
Has been spending today in CGH.. Hope ah ma recover soon..

Bz Week ahead..

Tomoro will be my official one week of working.. Sighz..
I thought i will enjoy my work, but seems like there are alot of things to clear up after i have taken over the work on thurs.. The gal who left obviously had too much to do.. and even the last minute of her last day, she is still working down her neck..

I think i see my future self in her.. WORRIED! It's not like I have not work in such a Stressful and heavy workload place before.. but now that im in another environment, i have alot of new things to learn.. and my buyer does not have enough time to teach me the steps.. so end up.. i have alot of things waiting for me to do.. but i can't do it becuz i duno how to do..
I wonder is that the phrase whereby every newcomer will encounter..

Last friday, I worked till 7.45pm and still had 30 unread emails in my mailbox! I wonder how I'm going to die tomoro.. and the worse thing is.. i have to go to the Robinsons Orientation from 10-1!! So 3 hours taken away.. I hope i dun have to work extra 3 hours tomoro!

Yesterday was supposed to be a happy day, since I have planned a whole day of fun-filled activities at Pasir Ris park..
My original plan is to reach Pasir Ris Park at ard 3pm, set up a tent then rent a bicycle to "drive" my doggies around the park.. then start the BBQ at 5+..
End up, it stupidly RAINED and it was a BIG rain!
So when we got to Pasir Ris park at 4+, the whole place was WET!! The ground was wet, and there was wet mud surrounding our BBQ pit.. To make things worse, there were Crows flying around the place and tried to "attack" our food!
After a while of complaining, we decided to set up our BBQ at the pit next to ours, since it is much much cleaner and empty.. After 30 minutes of bbq-ing.. a bunch of teenagers came up to us and told us that that was their pit.. and of course.. we had to vacate the place asap and in embarrassment.. :(
As we were packing up, there came another big rain.. so we quickly run to the nearest pavillion to hide.. The rain stopped in almost 30 minutes and we then shifted to another BBQ pit and managed to set up our BBQ party.. but that place is infested with ants!! Anyway, we managed to BBQ until ard 9+ and later on, we continued the party at my house..

The rain actually spolit the fun of organising a BBQ, but nevertheles.. I had fun!
Thanks to Ru who bought us the ultra-delicious pies.. and nevertheless, thanks to my mum who woke up early yesterday to prepare the things for the BBQ, although i would not call the BBQ event a successful one.
And the "magic show" displayed by Sc was quite entertaining too.. I think they enjoyed it much more than the BBQ session.. and I'm glad the day ended beautifully with laughters and enjoyment from my pals.

Today's another long day.. I woke up at 11+(due to the late night I had).. and met up with Jo to had lunch at Big Ben's Place for chicken pies.. Then went to Natas fair to see see look look.. GR came very very very late in the evening cuz he had to work.. yes! Even on Sunday!
Luckily the day was not wasted, we managed to book a 8-day tour to Korea for next Jan.. YEAH! Winter Sonata! But i'm still worried cuz I duno if my application for my leave will be successful.. Dun forget my probation is till End-March..

Dear all, my office will be at Orchard Building (the one where California Fitness is situated).. so we could arrange lunch any day.. not sure about my lunch hour thou.. but since its a 9-6, my best guess for lunch will be from 1-2..

I am quite worried about my new job.. no sure about the people working there and the working culture there also.. the senior manager has warned me that it is not a bed of roses.. so im keeping my fingers crossed.

Today's a hot day compared to previous days.. tomoro hope the weather is this good as well, cuz i'm going east coast with Jo.. bringing our precious little doggies!

Need some new clothes for my work.. heard from the HR that there is no "dress down" days in the company.. so everyday have to wear office wear.. sighz.. might as well make us wear uniforms! Even better, i can save money on clothes.

Masapig!! U actually had a chance to go for an interview as a PR Marcom??? of my god! that is sooo wonderful loh!! I wonder why i dun get such luck! I have sent out almost >50 resumes on Marcom positions but NONE replied!!! :(

Anyways, Good news here.. I just wnt down Robinsons to sign the appointment letter this afternoon.. YES, I'm going to be an assistant Buyer! Heehee.. Well, the pay is not fantastic, but there are good prospects to the job so I dun really mind.. 6 months of probation might be long, but it is also a good way for me to see if im really suited for the j0b right?!
It's a good thing job search has finally come to an end.. and I'm really dead tired going to interviews and answering the same questions over and over again..

Went to Yen's birthday party last sat.. at East Coast... After that we went for supper, cuz the BBQ was really not satisfying enough for us.. heehee.. we are all Big Fat Pigs.. ok ok.. its me.
Was bitten by the super fat red ants there at East coast, and the swelling is still there at my feet.. every night i wake up from the itch!! Urgh... have to go apply medicine later!

Went to Robinsons for an interview on tuesday, as an assistant buyer!! Hooray~ Finally i get wee-bit of chance to try my dream job.. The HR lady told me if this round of interview is successful, there will be another interview with the merchandising manager next week. The latest she will call me (if im being shortlisted again), is by next monday. Pray pray pray!! Im so excited now! But dare not pin my hopes too high oso..

Just hope for the best.. if heaven can see, pls help me!

I surfed jobstreet and jobsdb almost everyday, but seems like there is not much suitable jobs for me these few days.. maybe get newspaper later.

I cooked spaghetti last night.. yummy... and im hungry now.
Maybe later go downstairs get some food.. then buy newspaper.
Have to clear up the dust in my room oso.. cannot stand it anymore, have been dusting it but the dust just comes back every 2 days! Apart from the dust, seems like i have alot of shoeboxes, papers, brochures which i duno whether to throw or not.. should I? Should I not?

Cocoa is at her fur-shredding stage again.. Im starting to find fur on my pillow, my bedsheet, my clothes.. and.. in my mouth! And she is kind of rejecting food again.. have to coax her for very long before she start eating.

Maybe u guys might find this amusing.. I quit the job at sunrise! Yes.. after working there for 2 days, i decided i dun want the job.
People have been asking me.. why, why.. WHY?
Here are the reasons:
1) It's an Indian family-owned company.. (What does this imply?)
2) The 2 girls that were leaving told us that the boss SUX! Screams at you in front of everyone.. YES, open doors and not behind close doors!
3) The indians there are racists too.. they treated us 2ndly..
4) Probation is 6 months!! YES 6 months!
5) I have to work on EVERY Sat from 9-1.. & I hate to work on Sats!
6) On my 2nd day of work, I worked till 9pm! SUX!

That's enough reasons for now.. shan't go on.. in case they SUE me! :P

Anyway, the gal who went in together with me decided to quit with me too.. Luckily we have not signed the appointment letter yet!

When God closes all doors, he will open a window! And I'm sure he hasn't closed all doors yet.
As optimistic as I am.. I'm still a little worried.. but I really want a GOOD job.. and not just a job.
Luckily my family understands.. Even my bro said, better dun work under an Indian Boss.

Thanks Eha, for the encouragement! Wana share a piece of good news; I got 2 job offers!

Actually I have already accepted one this morning.. as a Promo Exec for Yonex and Mikasa, at Sunrise & Co.. Then when I was checking my mail just now, I realised that another company had also forwarded me the appointment letter but the dateline was 27th August, and I din't check my mail for the past few days so i kinda missed the dateline already. Anyways, it is a sales position and the commission package was far better than the promo exec post, but thats not what i reli wana do, so i guess its all fated.

I'm starting work this wednesday, and the office is within walking distance from my house.. Good one right? Keke.. I guess perserverance really does pay off :)

I found an ulcer close to where my wisdom tooth is currently growing, so i guess that was what that is causing the pain these few days.. its so painful i can't chew anything properly.. but its not stopping me from going to have fun later!

Its so terrible to WAIT!! Was at my final interview at Sunrise & Co. yesterday.. and after waiting for like 10 minutes (I was supposed to be there at 11.30am but i was early actually), 2 other girls came into the room.. yeah! Same Room! Btw, I was applying for their Promotions Executive position and I think there were more than 1 vacancy.

Alright.. then we talked to each other and realised that we are supposed to meet the MD for the final interview but none of us can understand why they make us wait in the same room.. After waiting for another 20 minutes or so.. the MD finally came into the room and ask us to intro ourselves, casually. Then he said something like, he will be rushing to Japan tonight and he have no time for us, so have to reschedule the interview to Friday when he's back.. something to add on, he said "If you are here to have fun, then pls leave.. if u reli want a career then I welcome u".. I was like... *WTF

So right now, the only thing is to wait... ... tick tock.. tick tock... tick tock...

Staying at home praying is BORED!

Hope I can get the job at Sunrise too.. Im too mentally tired to continue my job search.. u know.. anticipation can kill!

Looking at myself.. I really dun look like the "unemployed" but why am I one?? I really duno wats gone wrong with my job search.. everything seems unsmooth for me nowadays.. and I start questioning myself.. "WHY?". I have been positive all along but how long more is heaven going to put this test on me? and again.. WHY?.

I'm not the superstitious sort.. but im starting to think whether all these setbacks have been due to my luck.. was it something that i have done? Just really wana take a break to think.. but i just cant.. everybody is concerned about me finding a job.. i think all of them have expectations of me.. and its more dutiful for me to fulfil those expectations.. I mean, I know they are not so worried my financial problem.. its more like, they are worried i might be upset and depressed in the long run. And indeed, it is biting me now.. mom and bro has been saying things like.. "I don't see why u can't get a job!" Well, beats me too.. Im so lost.

Yesterday afternoon was helping WJ at P&G cuz she needs some urgent doc for friday so i went down to help her with it.. she is paying me $8.50 an hour.. not too bad.. i earned $34 yesterday.. The jobs she gave me, actually is for one whole day to complete, but i finished in 4 hours. She said, might need me again on wed or thurs. Been handling too much paper yesterday, i think i have at least 2 cuts on my hands.. yeah.. papercuts.

For some, finding job is a Breeze.. For some, it could take months.. and I think i fall into the later category. Nowadays I dread meeting relatives and friends.. hate the feeling of replying them "I'm STILL looking for a job" upon being asked. Sigh.... Lets work hard together! Ever since I returned from Genting, have been feeling a little wierd in my throat..
Last friday, the virus finally erupted! Along with the sore throat virus, comes with the good friend virus - FLU. So now im hugging to my tissue pack again, preparing for any mucus leaking! Haven been breathing in good air for long.. my nostrils are STUCK!

Had a funny dream last night! Ah bi went "gai gai" with a few fellow dogs, and when she came home, she only had one eye! Oh my god! I remembered i was so stunned i faster run to my mum and told her about it.. then the next moment.. I'm awaken by the morning sun already.

Yesterday went to JAL for my 2nd interview.. STRESS this time.. cuz there were 7 people in the room, 5 main interviewers and 2 observers! We went in as group of 4.. and me.. again.. is the first to intro! Dammit. When i smiled, i can feel my cheeks twitching.. just like those obasans who went for botox injections on their face. As stiff as rock. Tried to concentrate while the rest of the group is speaking.. but my throat keeps getting itchy so i had no choice but to cough like a mosquito in the room. they might have seen what i was doing cuz i saw a few of them looking at me.. BOO. After the interview, we went into another room to do the scar check one by one. When they were checking on my wrist, i was like "oh shit!" cuz i had a few mosquitobite scars and a mini scar near my wrist (not suicidal!!) caused by Cocoa! I think they must have mistaken the scar for a suicidal one.. lol.

YB is jio-ing for a swimming session tomoro.. later asked GR see if he is interested.. YB says after that can go billard too! but i duno how to play.... .... :(

And know what? That day saw M on line then she told me that Poh is back to Scotland.. and I was like.. "Oh yah huh!! We are already in August now!" Soooooo Sorry Poh.. forgotten all about the meeting up cuz have been busy last few weeks and moreover i went to Genting late July so forgotten all about U, when i came back u were gone! Guess I would have to save up and see u in Glasgow someday.

Back from Genting & JAL interview!

Hey hey people~

I'm back last saturday, but forgot to update my blog until today then i remembered, OH YAH I STILL HAVE A BLOG! keke.. ..

Genting was ok, with 2 days rainy out of 3. We went down to Genting on the 2nd day, and the cab fare costs RM65 for going down and RM75 for going up! DUH.. I felt like we are 4 carrot heads that are there to be chopped. Just my 2cents worth, next time u guys better take the shuttle bus from the first world bus terminal.. the down trip oni costs RM7+, duno about the up trip thou.. but i guess should be ard the same price. Taking Cab means transforming urselves into carrot heads!

KL things are the same as what we have here, so din't buy anything at all.. I almost won RM50 at the jackpot.. but lost it all again. Anyways its just for the kick of it, so doesn't matter.. I dun believe in Gambling anyways.

As for the JAL interview, I managed turn up for the sunday interview at JAL and they let me in too.. And!! I am so lucky, i managed to get thru the 1st interview and the next one is this coming sunday.. Heehee... Yeah.. competition was very strong in my group of 5, with me, there were a current Tiger Airway crew, an ex-emirates crew, a japanese-speaking Japanese Company Personal Assistant and a potential SQ crew who made it thru all the rounds in SQ but was rejected in the end because of qualifications.

Well, I did not pin high hopes on this, so its actually very surprising too. But however, might not make it thru the 2nd thou.. since the competition will be stronger with screening done. And moreover, there is still the 3rd and last interview... SO TOUGH!!

Monday was my bro's 28th birthday so mum actually bought a cheesecake for him, and we celebrated at midnight.. turned up that the silly candle (which u can see from the pic), is a trick candle.. so it just re-lit itself everytime we blew it off.. so funny!

As i have no business attire (it is stated in the letter that we must be in our business attire), yesterday went shopping and bought a black skirt at Seiyu.. I din't realise that business attire reli costs big bucks man! If normal circumstances, i wun even pay more than $35 for a skirt.. and that skirt costs $43.90! I haven got a blouse yet, intending to borrow from A.. actually saw one yesterday but also costs $40++ and I thought that was so EX!! cuz its just a normal short sleeve blouse and not from any brand which i know of, but it goes well with the skirt i bought lah!

Yipee... It's Friday~ TGIF! I alwaz loved weekends.. thou everyday seems like a weekend to me.. but it simply means I will have people accompanying me during weekends!

Yesterday went to book the package for the Genting trip that we have been planning.. so i will be away from 26th night till 29th night.. AND.. here comes the problem.. I received JAL shortlist letter and its on 29th morning! Damn! Now the problem is.... I can't change the date of my interview and I wouldn't be able to come back on 29th morning..
The only thing now is.. to change the date of the genting trip.. which I reli dun feel like doing.
GR has already applied for leave and its not so nice to change, neither would I think he will want to come back a day earlier.

LAst night went play pool at Bugis.. saw eha.. but dint managed to talk much cuz I had been waiting very long for the table until im a bit tired..

Celebrated yz's bday last sat night at orchard party world.. C was so nice, she cooked dinner for all of us.. and o and i skipped dinner that night cuz not time to eat.. so the dinner from C was just nice!

Had a really great time since I haven meet up with the K gang for really very long time already. Din't really sang much cuz dun feel like singing after not singing for too long.. and there were alot of "gao-shou" so dun dare to "ling jiao".

Tomoro will be my last paper for my course.. Wellness, or u may call it "management of personal lifestyle" - is part of my degree course in mass comm. How funny.. yeah.. thats how the module works. Anyways its the last paper and only weighs 25% weightage for the module, but i haven studied much.. oh rather.. nothing much for me to study oso, moreover, its MCQs.. so.. hahaha, I have an at least 25% of passing eh?

YAH I AM LAZY I KNOW, PERIOD.

My blue black seems to have washed out abit and the golden hair tone is stealing out of my head again.. but still not so obvious.. at least u can still see it's black. Pls pls pls.. make it last.

Went to remove some pigmentations yesterday.. was damn painful, but i do hope the spots are gone upon healing.

The time now is 1:50 am and i'm still not tired nor sleepy.. why? becuz i m too free and have nothing to do!

I just dyed my hair black 2 days ago so now i look really oriental.. (well, black hair is IN!) Skin looks fairer as well as my pupils looking black!

I sent in my application for JAL today.. yes! after a long long wait, finali they are recruiting.. keke.. one of my dreams is to get one of those uniforms.. not sure if its for the job though.. anyway, i had nothing better to do so try applying loh~

Met up with my Oceansky Ex-colleagues just now and we went for dinner at Tampines Mall's "Central". I love the Tofu with ba-hu there, too bad i forgot to take a pic of that.. but u guys can go try it someday.

I will be so disgustingly unhappy this week becuz i have to study for my upcoming environmental science exam, as well as doing the post assignment. Why will that be devastating for me? Imagine a person who have never passed a single science paper, and falls asleep (uncontrollably) during science lessons in high school.. how can she ever get herself interested in SCIENCE?

In fact, I HATE SCIENCE!!

Getting a tummy upset again.. must be the detox pills that im currently consuming.. my bro says its supposed to detox and we can be healthy again.. or rather, continue to be healthy.

Rejoice! Im not having a toothache anymore.. but it's alwaz periodical and surgery is definitely one option i will consider some time later when i get a job soon.
Thanks, eha.. for the additonal info that i can go to a polyclinic first.. I went to the Ubi dental clinic and the extraction was $300 per tooth! I was shocked!

Sent out quite a few resumes over the past few weeks (in fact i think its only 1.5 weeks).. and i got a call from Today's Career regarding a position of Fashion Coordinator but then still waiting for the company to get back to them. Heard from the agency that it is a high-end fashion brand that actually keep tracks of customer's birthdays and organises fashion shows.. from my guess, it could either be LV, Gu**i or Pr*d*.. pray that i would be the lucky one.

This morning, i received a call from CHOMEL, they are considering me for a merchandiser position.. at least for their accessories range. I think that will be good.. anyways, the interview is tomoro afternoon so i need to get a nice skirt for the interview. I realised i do not have any good clothes for office and its time for me to get some.

Pray for me, guys... need a job real badly.

I terribly upset after hearing what my insurance agent told me about jk's (my ex) mom.
She was diagnosed to be in the 3rd stage of ovarian cancer.. I was shattered. So i decided to give him a call last night to see if he will want to tell me about it.. and much more to my surprise, he did and also told me that his dad is not doing well also. Apparently he is having heart problems and had stopped working for some time.

Life is just like a roller coaster ride.. ups and downs are just at a twitch on the eye. Anyways i have decided to visit them this friday.. haven reli told GR, but i think he will understand. GR will be on re-service till 2 weeks later so i have lesser time to talk to him or meet him up. Yesterday was out with my gals, so can't talk to him for long also.
We went to the bubble tea house at parco. it shifted a few shops and the place ambience is different too. For a while i thought the shop closed down.. luckily it is still there.
After dinner was dessert at Ah Chew's.. yummy.

I think my lower left wisdom tooth is popping out.. the gum HURTS! i feel like taking a knife and just cut open the gum for the tooth to grow out. ARGH!
Maybe i should consider surgery.. but im broke. Dammit.

Have to continue my job search again.

Yes people.. finali im back home!

typing on my own keyboard.. feeling so "not used", and my room is quite dusty i think.. my own bedsheet seems like it has got germs and insects waiting to feed on me! im feeling itchy again~~

my dogs are happy to see me though! and the best part is.. they still remembered me! they were jumping high and low when they saw me opening the door and my cocoa cannot stop cuddling near me.. so touched!

i reached home on the 22nd monday morning at ard 2am.. had come back one day in advance. Din't managed to update my blog upon my stay at Banana Bungalow cuz the internet connection there is paid service and for every USD, i get only 12mins of connectivity.

Anyway, BB was a nice place to stay. i thought.. thou the first impression wasn't that good. *no elevator, no trolley, no aircon, no hairdryer! and the fridge and micro-oven is shared! anyway, might as well be it.. since we can get to see fellow stayers in the common kitchen and we get to know people there.. on the 2nd night, a New York guy named Patrick chatted me up and i was like "erm.. oh hi, nice to meet u".. and i walked away.. lol

the 3rd night (the last night), we have got 2 18-yr-old guys talking to us and they were so surprised that we can speak English fluently. One from Agentina and one from France > Nicholas and Charlie. Nic came to our room the day we left and we had some pics taken.. too bad Charlie was MIA and we dint managed to catch him before departure. (i thought Charlie was cuter :P)

We went to Universal Studio on Friday.. and i took pics with Marilyn Monroe, Spiderman, Shrek and Fiona, Van Helsing and Spongebob.. oh yah, and also the Lion from Magadascar.. so cute!

Im soooo tired now.. it should be 2am now in LA.. guess im still suffering from the jet lag! i slept at 11pm last night and woke up at 2am.. afterwhich i stayed awake until 5am and slept till 9am.. URGH!

AD came just now to exchange our pics.. and i got my LA pics with me finali.. cuz i had to upload all my cam pics to her laptop so as to save space to take more pics. Hooray! Will rename them later.. now too tired to think..

Dinner time! and im sooo hungry! Only ate beehoon at 10am till now.. so i better get something to chow.

Disneyland Hangover

After Disneyland yesterday, everybody (except me) fell sick!
*Becky was down with tummyache ever since yesterday, adeline is having headache today, and ah rong is almost bored to death becuz nobody entertaining her since all the rest are quite sick and im stuck to the comp trying to see all the pics taken yesterday and also renaming them.. :P

Hungry day today.. not going out so have to feed on my bread and maggie mee..
Maybe have to faster finish up our maggie mee, since we are moving out of Anaheim tomoro morning and shifting to Banana Bungalow at Hollywood~ Yipee!

Went to the receptionist to check out how to call out from the room and saw many rooms were evacuated! So scary, maybe we are the only ones that are still here in the motel! The motel was out of water from 12-4pm just now cuz they need to repair the water system and BK and AD had to bear with their tummyache cuz there is no water to flush off! hahaha~

Wanted to go for a swim at the pool just now, but the water seems "not very clean" and AD reminded me that my rashes are still active! Sighz.. The shuttle tomoro from Anaheim to Hollywood costs USD25! Duh.. we are supposed to arrange for pick-ups by Banana Bungalow, but then the number is not available. I was telling the rest, worst come, Banana Bungalow might not even exist! hahaha.. then we will have to sleep in the streets of Hollywood!

Jo forgot her beverage package when she left for San Frans so i get to drink those.. haha..
Ginseng coffee and milo and tea! Better send her an email later to see how is she doing now :)

Disneyland Day

Hooray~~~ I went Disneyland today!
Full of fun and laughter and the whole place is soooooo NICE and CUTE and BEAUTIFUL!
I took a total of 174 pics today, CRAZEE!

We reached the park at 8.30am and it was already quite packed, thou today is monday! AD was saying, how come Amercians no need to work one? hahaha, i do agree with that. We ended our Disney day at 8.45pm before it closed at 9pm. Still alot of nice places untouched by us and tomoro we are going back to the area to take the night lights there. By 7.30pm after the ending of the Disney parade, all our cameras' batteries are dried! We took a group pic with Mickey, Pooh, and Tiga, and i had individual shots with Minnie! keke.. The rides there were not as interesting thou i liked space mountain the most!

We are staying at Super Motel 8 Disneyland, and on last sat and sun, the fireworks are displayed right above our hotel! Too bad there is no fireworks on monday *_*

Time now 11.04pm, all of them asleep and the room is darn cold. LA is darn cold!

It's finali my last day here in Oklahoma! Not that im especially happy about leaving here, but rather, im just happy that we are going LA soon, and that oso means, i will be home soon!

The time now is 5pm, armstrong is sleeping upstairs, jo and bk went to Penn Sq for some last minute shopping.. and i was supposed to join them, but later decided that i wana do my laundry instead. We are going to Im's place for potluck dinner at 8 later. Guess what we are bringing? Maggie Mee - Curry Flavor!

My things are mostly packed except for the clothes im wearing now and some toiletries which i still need to use tomoro morning. Taking the 8.55am UA flight and leaving the inn at 6.30am tomoro. Said bye to Sandy and Zap just now, will miss them, esp Zappy zap!

No shows on TV now.. boring! Just ate Curry Maggie mee for lunch, and cooked for armstrong as well. So later for dinner i think i will just pinch on the food that the others brought! kekeke.. we still have 4 boxes of Pizza left in the fridge! Maybe later cook and bring over to Im's place.

My rashes coming back today cuz its terribly hot today! luckily the hydrocortisone cream saved me from the itch. Worried that the weather at LA will be worse! God Bless.

Hopefully my luggages will not exceed 100lbs.. thou i thought it was already very heavy for me to carry.

Ran out of drinking water already and now cooking water from the tap. Actuali i dun like the tap water here cuz there's a wierd smell in it. Yeeks.

Last night we went to the Skybar at Bricktown to chill.. saw some funny people there and a few guys tried to get fresh with some of the girls that went with us. I only had 1 bottle of Carona and was extremely tired after midnight (sleeping time), so we came home at abt 1.30am.

Today is rest day. *yawn*

Phew~ Finali! After 2 years of gruelling lecture daze, WE GRADUATED TODAY!

Maybe all of us were too excited, many of the pictures turned out blurred! Even those which i took for others.. hahahaha, guess we weren't really concentrating when taking photos!

Early morning, we had to go chapel for mass! and so many people fell asleep while the priests are preaching.. i managed to keep myself awake, luckily!

After that we went to the Wellness Centre where the auditorium was and proceeded with the ceremony~ There were some really cute guys around and i managed to (or rather, jo managed to) have some quick shots of them while they were not looking! haha~! So so nervous when we were about to go on stage! All the other graudates have their friends and families here and so their cheers were loud, but for us Singaporean Students.. the cheers were vague~ but its 0k, cuz we are having our actual one at Ritz this coming Oct! Jo reminded, both our poly and uni grad ceremonies are held in Ritz! Wat a coincidence!

It was drizzling these few days and the ground at campus was really wet, so.. without much surprise, i slipped again and hurt my left knee.. (i slipped and hurt my right knee when i was in LA) So now i have bruises on both my left and right knee!! boo hoo~ I feel like im a bull in a China Shop!

The time now is 5.30pm and the rest are sleeping.. i just woke up an hour ago, still recovering from my sleeping lag~

Tonight we gona have a private party of our own~ the vodka we bought 2 days ago is to be finished tonight! hahaha, btw, its our last saturday here in OKC!

Just came back not long ago from our faculty dean's house.. her house was very very beautiful!
It's a cottage design and it is soooo cute! she dint even light more than 2 main lights in the hall and the rest of the house is lit by aroma candles! So romantic u just feel sooooo comfy inside and i could almost sleep there after 2 sips of white wine~ I gave the rest to Dickson cuz worried that i might get drunk.. (im not a good drinker) Harmon cooked us Baked Rice, Salad, Garlic Bread and Brownies (which i find too sweet!!)

Btw, i think i did mentioned about the dog living downstairs, Zap! Jo took a pic of me and him together and i have attached it on top! the wind is strong and both our hair is messy but hope u guys can still c the cutie cutie Zap with the tongue stick out most of the time. We saw him again today when we returned from campus and he was so excited, it ran all the way up to our house!

My rashes still itch like mad, and Mag says that it is due to the weather change and moreover we are entering summer here and still parting with spring, so its like Hot and Cold, Hot and Cold.. so our skin cannot take it~ and i think mine's worse! I smacked on lots of moisturiser after my bath just now~ hopes it recovers before i go LA, otherwise i cant wear the skirts i brought and bought! *scratching*

Been having flu ever since the day i stepped here and everyday i have to blow my nose.. lots of blood clots in my nosils.. maybe i blew too hard and it is bleeding already~

My face peeling is getting better since i applied my face mask just last night and bobby (my classmate) said that i looked like a ghaust!

BK bought a 6-pack Bud-light just now for only USD5.40! Darn cheap here to drink beer! But i have no intention of touching those! Thou i must admit it looks good~ :P

Ate my yellow pill and Vit C pills just some minutes ago and i feel abit drowsy now~

TV production classes were great! I enjoyed it very much, and we are having a role play tomoro and none of us know what role we will be playing! So excited and worried!! Better not screw up the whole show and save some faces~

We went to the Channel 5 station (Koco TV) and sat thru the whole noon news broadcast! after which, we took photos with the newscasters~ Isn't that cooL?

Just got back from a shopping trip at Penn Square Mall~

Was super "disgusted" by the service that Marriott Residence Inn provided.
They say they could send a shuttle to pick us up when we are about to leave the mall, but turn out that when we called them at 6pm, they say that the shuttle is off service already and we have to take a taxi back to the hotel!
Argh~ another USD$20 gone from us (BK,Jo & me)! Its so annoying!! They did not tell us that the service will be off at 5pm and then they put the blame on us! Worse, when Jo tried to explain things to the receptionist, she actually say she doesn't want to argue with us! BURGH~

No much damage done today.. have spent almost USD1000 for the past week... and worst, i haven bought presents for my dudes yet! They are going to kill me will they??? :P

Just came back from campus tour and also the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. The memorial honors those victims that were killed in the 1995 OKC bombing..

Super hot today.. a complete contrast from yesterday! The hotel person told us that it hasn't been raining here ever since last october, and they are entering a Drought period! Less wonder why my skin got really bad and my lips are peeling.. jo has mouth ulcers.. ah rong looks moody.. everyone is almost not feeling okay... yet.

Later at 4pm, we will be going to Walmart to get our groceries. Meantime came back to catch some rest. My YO is MIA-ing since 9 hours ago. Duh!

My rashes is getting worse and itchy!!! URGH!
Frankly, i feel sick in a bad weather like this is.
Need to drink more water and catch some rest for now.

1st Day at Oklahoma!

Time: 11.30pm US time.

Still suffering from jet lag!
Reached here last night at ard midnight and check in took us another 30 mins so we finally get to rest at ard 1am.. cant fall alseep last night and end up sleeping the whole of today~

The flights were super long.. add up to almost 27hrs of flying time from SIN-JPN-LA-OKC. Never took so many flights in a day!
Saw a big contrast between SQ and UA.. the flight stewardesses from UA were "not-as-slim", *not-as-young", "not-as-demure" and er... auntie-like.. keke.. now i know why SQ is a 5-star airline.

Went to a nice restaurant opposite LAX yesterday while waiting for our domestic.. nice place.. uploaded the photos..

Marriott Residence is a nice place.. clean and beautiful rooms.. and the bathroom looks like it has just been renovated! :) the penthouse here is so big and spacious i think it can accomodate 6 ppl (it is double storey!!) beautiful!

Just went Denny's for Chicken chop and nachos.. the meal here costs ard USD10 on average. No food courts, hawker centers nor kopitiams here.. all fastfoods and restaurants. Nice n Big!

Police cant do much, they gave a report and ask me to go down to starhub to request for call barring.. duh! How many more people needs to know that im being harrassed by my ex-bf? its not very glamorous!

My fringe getting real ugly.. duno should keep it long or short?!
GR suggests i continue to keep it long.. but i just think that it looks heavy on me! Hm... any suggestions?

Just finished listening to the YES 933 音乐日记3...

Not that nice that i thought it should be.. but then i can find similarities in some of the stories..
i have a deep impression on the story 11 "四个月又二十一天"..
there's this phrase "我们一直维持着模模糊糊的关系. 偶尔我们会联络. 偶尔, 他会对我好一点. 偶尔, 我们会断了联系. 偶尔, 他还是一样冷漠."
Guys.. are u all like that?? What the hell are u thinking about?

There is another story.. about a gal who fell in love a guy. Unfortunately, this guy already have a Gf of 2 years.. but then later she decided that she is going to love him anyway.. and so the guy was also touched by her courage and reciprocate her love. So this guy has 2 Gfs for a peiord of 3 years.. Eventually, that guy got married with his Gf and so the gal decided to back of.. and all she got were Sweet Memories from that 3 years and a "Sorry".

That was sooo sad!

I really wonder if there is really such girls around.. they knew that the love brings no good ending.. but they choose to love anyway. Sometimes i wonder.. what is that guy thinking of..?

我快发飙了!!

昨天本来是个开心的日子.. 有我最爱的tulips!
可是!! 却碰到好友（ＹＢ）和她的烂情人（我们就把他叫ＳＣ．．）！！
我和 GR吃晚饭，　然后约了ＹＢ和ＳＣ去喝酒.. 可是他们竟然骗吃骗喝!!　
当付帐的时候，　ＳＣ竟然用了多过三十秒的时间来找他的钱包！
结果ＧＲ只好乖乖付帐以便晚会大家的面子．．
后来，ＳＣ竟然就将错就错，　把钱包收会去～～～　也没主动要还ＧＲ，也没说谢谢！
啊！！！！　怎么会有这样的男人？？　ＹＢ真的看走眼，　还以为自己检到宝！
而ＹＢ也没说话～　
之后，　ＳＣ也没主动要送我们回家，　虽然后港离我家超靠近的！

算我没交过这个好友～
